How to Break Form and Convey Concepts

0.3 CEUs, PS

In this workshop we will discuss how an educational interpreter can use personification in a junior high school setting. How we can become our subject. History lessons have many rich opportunities to do this, which will be demonstrated. We will look in on how during biology class you can become the animal or in science become an atom!

Tim's easygoing personality and encouraging attitude made his workshops some of my favorites. It was a safe space to learn. He is humble and lighthearted, and made learning easy. VERY informational workshop with anecdotes and hands on learning. Thank you!!!

Thank you for an awesome workshop. Sometimes we interpreters think we must get every sign/word and not miss anything, and that makes us a GOOD interpreter. This workshop re emphasized the important thing is the meaning, concept, the point! Thanks again! Awesome

Wonderful workshop, really helped me to know what to work on to break form. That is one of, if not the hardest things for me to do. But now I know what needs to go on in my head once I hear the information in order to present it correctly
